Obstructive railings on NCN 75 cycle path in Airdrie.

Junction of old and new routes of NCN 75. No mention of what is up ramp, just a plain 'straight on' sign. Also, railing hinders access to and from Bredisholm Road, which provides a shortcut to Glasgow via Baillieston.

Cyclists Dismount sign at the Plains end of the cyclepath from Bathgate. Are cyclists meant to walk to Airdrie where NCN 75 recommences?

A752 footway widened to make it shared-use for NCN75, then narrowed by having new streetlighting poles installed within the width of the footway. Shared use sign has at least been installed in the grass, outside of the footway. No buffer zo ... [more]

Off-ramp to Drumpellier Business Park, but cyclists expected to know where they are going, so sign only provided on adjacent A89.

There's nothing to say old route of NCN 75 is on footway, so must assume it is on the road under narrow railway bridge. (See also #43939 and #43940)

Route signs on old route of NCN 75 pointing in opposite directions along Woodside Street. One should point along path behind where photo was taken from. They should also be larger so can be seen from other side of road. (See also #43939 and ... [more]

No dropped kerb to get onto ramp on NCN 75

NCN 75 did used to come here some years ago, when it turned right under bridge in background of photo and up onto an old bridge on the far side of it to run alongside railway line to Stobcross Street.

Sustrans right turn sticker without route number, but it appears the route actually turned right onto path at previous corner where there was a left arrow on its own. Old route of NCN 75 in Coatbridge.

Minimalist route signage on Buchanan Street, Coatbridge, outside entrance to The Time Capsule leisure centre, just where cycling should be very visibly promoted!

I had lost the route but rejoined it here, where both sign patches are facing away from approaching cyclists on old route of NCN 75

Will a new path entrance be formed here to Drumpellier Lawns housing estate when the temporary fencing is removed, or will a permanent fence go up, blocking the opportunity for a connection to a quiet road route into Glasgow?

lack of ncn signage. maybe due to recent vandalism.
